CPA marketing is creating a lot of talk online currently even to the extent that many of the marketing guru’s are getting involved by creating e-books and courses, so do you actually know what this is?
I will do my best to explain, CPA (Cost Per Acquisition or Cost Per Action) is a performance based payment system of advertising where an affiliate is paid when a qualifying action is completed.
Understanding What A Qualifying Action Is
Qualifying actions are also known as leads, which in effect is the registration of a potential customer on a vendors website, or a direct purchase on the vendors site, the latter being the same as affiliate marketing as you already know it.
The CPA advertiser has a specific list of actions and will pay the affiliates when these actions are completed or a sale is made. You can see how CPA marketing has a lot of similarities to other affiliate network programs, but there are some key differences which is way you should be looking into CPA.
In this post and our other posts which you can find located on our site under the category CPA Affiliate Marketing such as CPA offers as well as many others we will be posting, we will be discussing the many beneficial advantages and benefits to joining a CPA affiliate network.
Once you have read our series of posts on CPA marketing, you will have enough information to decide whether CPA Marketing is the right avenue for you and whether you can create additional income.
If you want to get started straight away and don’t have time to read our posts then maybe you want this course called Google Sniper.
One of the major benefits of CPA marketing as opposed to other types of affiliate marketing programs is that instead of being paid for a sale, you are instead paid for a completed action.
For this reason alone this is what makes CPA Marketing so attractive to the affiliate as it is higher-paying and generally less work than most other affiliate marketing networks. Picture this a potential customer sights your CPA advertisement on your site clicks on it and gives their email or zip code to the vendor you get paid for having referred a potential customer which as you now know is considered lead.
An even more effective tactic is having advertising that offers a sign up for a product’s free trial. As a CPA affiliate and depending on your niche lets say a health site, you could be paid between $10 and $30 by having a potential customer fill in a trial offer subscription.
The trial offer works like this, the customer fills out the subscription request and only has to pay for the shipping and handling costs, which in the eyes of the customer makes the offer free. But at the end of the thirty days they are then re-billed and sent another installment of that product.
It does not get any easier online at the moment to get somebody to agree to try a product for free as opposed to paying for a product online up front? So for your website credibility what is better offering free trials that you get paid for or doing product reviews on your site and stuffing every new product or service online down your subscribers throats to make a living.
With CPA marketing it also gives you the motivation to build quality sites that will draw in massive amounts of quality traffic who are just to eager to click on your free offers. For more information on creating quality sites you might want to check out our Evolving As An Affiliate post…
Can Anyone Join A CPA Marketing Network
Before pursing a CPA Network to join you need to be aware that CPA networks are very diligent about who they allow to market their products. As an example of this you need to actually have a phone conversation with your affiliate rep from the CPA network where you may need to discuss your ideas and details before you are accepted into the CPA program. Some networks such as NeverBlue even ask you to supply additional URL’s to show your experience online.
In some circumstances you will need give them details of your intended online marketing plan for the types of CPA Offers that they market. While this may seem like a lot of work on the front end, in the end the reward is well worth it, after all they are only trying to protect themselves from those individuals that are not above-board and might be considering damaging the CPA Network by using “BlackHat” tactics..
Once you are accepted in the CPA Network you are going to notice a few things that you wouldn’t see as a Clickbank, ShareAsale affiliate or in many of the other affiliate networks, One of the major concerns for many of the first up CPA marketing affiliates is the way that this advertising business is always undergoing changes. Here is what I mean, a campaign from the network that your promoting on your site today may very well be unavailable to you by the time the next day arrives.
For this reason, many affiliate marketers have steered clear of marketing CPA offers, after all who really wants to log in the next morning to find many of their CPA campaigns are not longer running and then having to remove them from your websites, It can be a really big job especially for a one man operation. In saying that however and if you are prepared to develop your abilities in the CPA marketing arena and actually take the time to learn how to create your websites or landing pages in such a way that different products can be easily swapped out.
What Is The Best Marketing Platform To Use
Again guys this is not set in stone and I will only tell of my experiences when using CPA marketing. The best platform that I have found for doing this type of affiliate marketing is the WordPress Blog for this reason.
Have you heard of the many plug-ins that are available to WordPress well there is one called Max Banner Ads that allows you to enable and disable your CPA Offers at the click of a button.
Yes you have to load it up with your banner ads (images) and affiliate links but after that it is just a matter of monitoring your stats in both the CPA Network and of course Max Banner Ads control panel in your WordPress blog. You can even see how many impressions your CPA ad has received and the clicks.
If you have a massive amount of traffic coming to your websites then you should be involved in CPA affiliate marketing which is a very lucrative venture and an extremely powerful tool for those affiliates who wish to increase their online affiliate income stream.
So why is this type of marketing gathering momentum with online marketers…
Well firstly imagine being able to market a product that is actually free to your web site visitors and if they enter their email address you get paid. There are also many other major benefits to getting involved as a CPA affiliate, including additional income source, the easy implementation of the ads, and for many affiliates this is the best of all avoid having to directly sell a product online.
For any one wanting to expand their income online or just diversify their marketing efforts, which is always a very good idea CPA Marketing programs are a very good choice. In saying that, and with many other kinds of online promotions.
There are ways to do things more effectively that can increase your level of success, and while many will read this post and jump straight in and hope for the best, you would be allot smarter and far better off by getting the information you need from a professional who has tried, tested and tweaked the CPA tactics for the best possible profits.
The Google Sniper 2.0 course will show you all of the in’s and outs to get up and running fast just watch the video on the page to find out if this is for you.

A very useful post indeed.
Would appreciate if you could let us know what are most common questions asked by CPA Networks
and how to go about it?
Thanks
Amit

Hi Amit
The first thing you will need to do is sign up for the CPA network and fill out all the questions they ask at sign up. Make sure you give them an actual email address (You Website Email Address) and contact phone number.
As an example of an email address lets say this was the site I wanted to market CPA on then it is advisable to use the email address from this website rather than a non related website.
The most important aspect of the whole process is having a presentable website or blog that will pass there standards. If it looks spammy you will probably not even receive a call and the application will be declined.
Amit it is not hard to join but what they want to make sure of is that you are not going to be abusing the network by clicking on ads or using blackhat mailing tactics as long as you have good intentions and a professional looking website there should not be a problem in joining any of them.
And the key to the whole process is traffic if your site has very little traffic you could possibly be declined as well… The first time I applied was with a new website thinking I would set this up straight away but I didn’t hear back from the network for more than three months.
Hopefully this answers some of your concerns…

You are correct the CPA is most popular online marketing methods but is extremely difficult for the beginners I recommend to read some Free eBook about it, or to ask someone that have Success in his CPA campaigns, the last alternative is becoming member ‘CPA Success’ like my self but the cost is big $77 I use it, but really only if you are looking for a fast money making system and can afford to spend $77

I’m so glad you said this! At Adsmarket ( http://www.adsmarket.com ) issues with restriction compliance and fraudulent activity on the part of our Publishers are something we deal with every day, resulting in the suspension or dropping of Publishers who don’t meet our standards. It’s something we do to protect both the Advertisers and the thousands of legitimate Publishers doing a great job who deserve our high level of service and investment.
We welcome any affiliate who is ready to generate serious income on our network through smart and honest marketing to sign up. Black-hatters: Don’t bother…

Hi Daneka
Thanks for the post on CPA marketing and the explanation of some of the requirements of signing up with a cpa network. Daneka is associated with AdsMarket which is a CPA Network provider that you can check out, but remember what Daneka has said about doing the wrong thing as this goes for all the CPA networks out there not just this one.

Streaming into affiliate marketing can be easy but making mistakes when doing is even easier. Choosing the correct program is very important and I think many people, marketers are moving towards CPA as it’s really simple and can easily be effective. Dawid Ryba does prove my point with his reply
AffiliateX says
Hi Darren and welcome
Yes you are right when you say many people are moving over to CPA marketing as an alternative, however many of these people soon realize that they need a lot of traffic to make a substantial income.
Many are also being declined from the CPA networks because their websites are not built correctly or simply not finished or just one page websites which is another factor you need to consider before applying to any CPA Network.
Make sure you have a professional looking website before applying to any of the affiliate networks.

Hello,
Thanks for the detailed info. My questions is if I wanted to be the Advertiser and have affiliates market for me and send me leads for equipment leasing, Equipment Financing, Equipment Loans, Business Loans etc…. How hard is it to set up? Is there any requirements? Like you have to have X amount of dollars etc…. I have a service where I sell my leads now but I need more and i’m willing to pay 3 to 5 dollars per every lead I get. There are millions of people searching for Equipment Leasing , Equipment Loans, Business loans etc… and there is a lot of competition but I only need a small piece of the market.
Can you point me in a good direction?
AffiliateX says
Hi Julian…
If you are looking for leads for your leasing business then I would suggest using one of the CPA networks such as NeverBlue or one of the other CPa Networks. There are many you can choose simply buy doing a search online, but I just suggested NeverBlue as I am using them at the moment.

I would say never put all of your eggs in one basket. If your doing adsense only, what happens if the big “G” pulls the plug.
Thanks for the info on CPA…everyone should add this to their income.

Hi Todd
Yes you are right, as with things you do in real life you need to also make sure you do online. And the most important aspect of that is having some form of diversification so that if one affiliate network stops you have others you can replace it with very quickly.
stacie says
You just have to be careful when you’re setting up these kinds of systems. They’re not always free to run and you could end up paying a lot of money that you don’t get back because not enough ‘actions’ are completed. Make sure to research which ones look good and check out what people say about them online.
AffiliateX says
Hi Stacie,
Any network that wants me to pay to be involved in it will not get my business. It does not matter if it is an affiliate marketing Network or CPA there is no way that I would pay to be part of it, especially when you are promoting offers for a payment the network also takes a percentage from the process as well which should be all the payment they need.
Stay away from any networks wanting payment there are many more that are probably better and free to join as long as you have the right website for their offers.

With so many different CPA networks available. Try and find one which has been recommended by an impartial user.
AffiliateX says
You just have to make sure you read all the fine print so you understand what it is you are committing to with any affiliate network not just cpa marketing.

Hi Reena
Before you get involved in CPA marketing you need to have a a decent website that also looks like it’s finished. Then you need to ensure you have a good and steady flow of traffic to make the offers you place from the CPA networks more viable.
